Selling because we are moving on to a bigger full size pickup camper. Will include our perfectly fitting RockyMounts Backstage swing out bike rack for the right offer. 4.0 V6 toyota motors are incredible. Unbelievable reliability, better low end torque compared to the new tacoma 3.5 engine from the camry. This is our second high milage 4.0 and I have zero reservations about it. We just drove to Boise and back carefree. Washington car since new. Pro: Extensive service history since we bought it at 159k miles. I have a black book with almost everything that's been done to it since we bought it. I can also provide the CarFax on request. Quick breakdown of recent work: ~5000 mile Mobil 1 full synthetic oil changes since purchase, ~3000 miles ago it got new brake shoes and discs, left rear wheel bearing and seals, both front wheel bearings done before that. Recent plugs, serpentine belt, all filters, front rear diff fluid and transfer case fluid changed, Falken Wildpeak tires have lots of life and are the best AT tires I've found for snow and wet. Bilstien 5100s all around, add a leaf. Pro: We have already done the hard work of beating up the exterior of the truck for you. There's nothing more luxurious than a beat up pickup truck. You can drive it past brush on the trail, park next to nissan Altimas at trader Joe's, generally not wash it, and guess what? it still looks beat up! Con: This truck was extremely well taken care of mechanically, but we didnt pamper it cosmetically so it shows its age a little. Nothing major but it's got some bumps and bruises. I think I took pictures of all dings. Driver seat has the classic tacoma tear on the bolster. Never bothered having it patched. Con: It has a couple CEL codes I have included as a screenshot. P0420 and P0430 correspond to the two downstream oxygen sensors that only measure catalytic converter efficiency. In other words, it probably needs new cats to pass a smog check although we have never had it sniffed. The CEL do not affect performance of the engine and have been there for the last 20,000 miles as we live in a non emissions county. Cats are a little over a grand to replace them if you really want to. Camper itself is is great condition and has about 50 nights in it. We took delivery of the Drifter in late 2019. I think I have priced it fairly based on other second gen TRDs with cleared codes and sketchy sellers. Adjusted to include the cost of the camper and setup.
